Fuoco Fluido - Doppelbock

Description: Low-fermented, unpasteurized, unfiltered, refermented and aged beer in kegs and cans.

Visual Appearance: Ebony in color with ruby highlights, clear, with creamy, compact and persistent beige foam.

Olfactory Hints: The aroma is sweet and clean, notes of sponge cake, caramel and red fruit under spirits are in evidence while a hint of toast remains in the background.

Body and Taste: On the palate we find cookie, caramel and the other elements already described in the olfactory part especially red fruit in spirit (cherry, black cherry and raisins). The alcohol content is well masked and blends with the taste elements without ever being annoying. Bitterness is restrained and balances the drink in an exemplary manner. Body is medium and carbonation low to emphasize mouthfeel and maintain responsiveness to style.

Recommended pairings: The caramelized and fruity notes of Fuoco Fluido pair well with grilled meats, especially chicken or pork. Also good with aged cheeses or chocolate, caramel or red fruit desserts.

Recommended Glass: Snifter.
